I can’t live without this incredible gadget. Not one to shy away from a challenge, I don’t like to give up when a jar lid just won’t give. And thanks to the Black & Decker JW200 Lids Off Jar Opener, now I don’t have to.

This electronic contraption works on just about any size jar, easily releasing a vacuum-sealed lid with the push of a button. Just insert the jar into the opener, lower the upper portion onto the lid and press the large release button. The lower turntable grips the jar and moves it in a counter-clockwise motion, all while loosening the lid itself. Within seconds, you’ll hear that lovely “pop” sound, which lets you know that you’re ready to go.

The appliance comes in white and fits easily into any kitchen decor. And because it’s no bigger than your blender, you should be able to find the perfect spot on your countertop so the opener is within easy reach whenever you need it.
